She looks upon you when you’re alone
And always helps you to find your way home
For within your darkest hour
She will be your brightest flower
Standing there with long hair that flows
And a shining light that glows
She holds your hand and guides you into the light
When its time to give up the fight
For now you go to a happier place
A little smile forms upon your face
Knowing you will not be alone
As you enter your new home
Past family are waiting for you
And you see that they’re happy too
For now is not a time of sorrow
As you enter a better tomorrow
And take this little thought with you
As it will help you to get through
The lives that you have enhanced with your charm
So many people now happy and calm

When I see you lying in your bed
The seeing your pain makes me,
go out of my head
Knowing that there is nothing I can do

And I hate the thought of life without you along

I am grateful that I was your man
With the feelings of so much pain
It's enough to make me go insane
Watching you slowly slip away from me

For now my eyes are full of tear
And my heart is full of fear

As I return to the darkness of my mind
From my friends the feeling I hide

I sit holding a picture of you
With feelings of love that was so true
With legs now too wobbly to stand
